Panelist on Industrial Energy Storage: Eric Cutter

Mr. Cutter, Senior Consultant, is a lead analyst in the areas of energy efficiency, renewable energy, cost of generation, rate design, and water resources.  He has developed numerous financial and economic models for planning and regulatory policy in energy and water resources for the State of California and electric utilities nationwide.   His current responsibilities at E3 include developing tools for municipal utilities to design and evaluate water and energy efficiency programs, assisting the CEC and CPUC in implementing California’s Renewable Portfolio Standard, and evaluating utility sponsored Plug-in Electric Hybrid Vehicle programs.  Mr. Cutter’s prior experience includes 10 years at Pacific Gas and Electric Company working on electric transmission policy, natural gas transmission and storage pricing and policy, energy trading, and risk management.   Mr. Cutter earned a B.A. in Economics and German from Tufts University and an M.B.A. and an M.S. in Energy and Resources from the University of California, Berkeley.
