Panelist on On-Site Renewable Energy: Jean Paul Crouzoulon

Jean Paul Crouzoulon is Senior Vice-President Operations for AREVA Renewable in North America, based in Bethesda, Maryland. AREVA Renewable portfolio includes Offshore Wind, Solar CSP, Biomass and Storage activities.
Jean Paul has 25 years of experience in CO2 free Energy and Electricity Business, Information Technology and Outsourcing industry.
From 2005 to 2009, Jean Paul has held the position of Vice President Strategy for AREVA in North America including Nuclear, T&D and Renewable activities. In 2008, he designed and deployed an entry strategy for AREVA North America in the Renewable business of which a Joint-Venture with Duke Energy called ADAGE to develop, own and operate twelve 50MW woody biopower energy plants in the US.
In Jean Paul’s first years with AREVA, he was the Division CEO of Euriware, the Consulting and IT subsidiary of AREVA, based in Paris.
Prior to AREVA, Jean Paul worked for Electronic Data Systems (EDS) where he handled several management positions and for GFI, a former subsidiary of British Petroleum.
With his wife, Veronique, they have two daughters, Anais, a George Washington University graduate and now pursuing a Master’s in Science at The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Manon, a sophomore at Concordia.
Jean Paul holds advanced degrees in Economics, Finance & Fiscal Systems and Marketing from the Business School, Institute Superieur de Gestion, in Paris.
