Dr. Noah Goldstein, LEED AP, leads Navigant Research’s Smart Buildings program, with a focus on energy efficiency, building energy management, and applied sustainability. His recent research includes Zero Energy Buildings and Energy Management in Small and Medium Commercial Buildings. Goldstein directs research in industrial energy management, lighting innovations, and energy efficient building systems. Prior to joining Navigant Research, Goldstein was a member of the engineering directorate at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where he had three major roles: program developer for building energy efficiency, project leader for energy systems informatics, and scientific lead for site sustainability. Goldstein holds a BA in biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and an MA and PhD in Geography from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
